Using the power of the Internet, Duane can beam into your classroom, boardroom, living room, or meeting room for a live presentation and conversation.  With an approach that is affordable, flexible, and easeful, you can transform your meeting or gathering with cutting edge communications.  From his home office, Duane will come into your gathering at a size to fit your needs—whether on a laptop computer, a large-screen monitor, or a wall-sized projector.  Because he does not need to take the time and expense to travel physically, this is an affordable and an ecologically conscious option. 

 

LIVE VIDEO PRESENTATIONS

Personal, Powerful and Effective
    The Internet now supports personal and energizing communication between locations anywhere in the world.  With ease, Duane can show up in your meeting space and provide an hour or more of impactful communication.  This is an easy way to bring an internationally recognized author and social visionary into your gathering—a college classroom, a corporate boardroom, a living room discussion group, or a meeting room of your non-profit organization.  Here are illustrative comments from others that have used this approach:

    Duane can tailor his communications to the unique needs of each group.  Here are the four, most common themes for his presentations:

Flexibility and Ease of Setup
    With the power of the Internet, the connection for this presentation can be created quickly and easily.  Here are the two, most common methods:

•    One-way video—from Duane’s office to your computer with video and with a telephone connection from your meeting room back so you can ask him questions and give feedback.

•    Two-way video—from Duane’s computer to yours with video and from your computer back to Duane allowing both to see and talk with one another (for example, a widely available capability on Apple computers).
The only key requirement is that you have a high-speed Internet connection at your end so Duane can broadcast a live video to you.  You can then display Duane on a computer screen of whatever size fits your needs or, for a larger group, project his image from your computer onto a wall.  Duane will work with you to insure that we have a computer account to establish the connection (for example, Skype or AOL or a .Mac account).


Fees and Scheduling
    Fees vary depending upon the length of the call, the amount of preparation time involved for Duane, and the number of persons in the venue.  He will negotiate his fees to insure this service is broadly available.  Call to explore scheduling a session.

Biographical Sketch of Duane Elgin
    Duane (M.B.A. and M.A.) is an internationally recognized speaker, author, and visionary.  His books include: Promise Ahead, Voluntary Simplicity, and Awakening Earth.   He has worked as a senior staff member of the Presidential Commission on the American Future and as a senior social scientist with the think-tank SRI International where he coauthored numerous studies of the future, including co-authoring the book with Joseph Campbell, Changing Images of Man. In 2006, Duane received the international “Goi Peace Award” in recognition of his contribution to a global “vision, consciousness, and lifestyle” that fosters a “more sustainable and spiritual culture.”
