 Coleen LeDrew Elgin has managed and directed programs and projects for nonprofits, city government, universities, and businesses often focused on developing new educational and community-building initiatives. She has worked on a variety of different projects with Duane Elgin including producing a DVD about the 2007 Goi Peace Forum and co-leading workshops that explore global trends and the opportunity to create a more sustainable and positive future. She has also worked with Lama Palden, a Buddhist teacher at the Sukhasiddhi Foundation to upgrade media and online offerings.
Coleen has an MA from the California Institute of Integral Studies with a concentration in Human and Organizational Transformation. She draws on training in transformative learning, mindfulness practices, and working with groups and teams. Coleen co-authored with Duane the book Living Legacies: How to Write, Illustrate, and Share your Life Stories (2001) and contributed supporting research and writing for the report Global Consciousness Change: Indicators of an Emerging Paradigm also with Duane (1997).
Coleen’s current work Coleen has a wide range of skills and capacities to serve individuals and organizations in launching or enhancing projects and programs. She is interested in working with organizations dedicated to transformation and change, both individual and societal.
Coleen offers the following services:
Projects and Programs - development and management - Planning, implementing and expanding program activites including content and curriculum development; training, facilitation, and team building; and development of websites and other online media.
Digital Video - Creation of digital video presentations and life stories for websites and DVD. These movies can include video, photographs, graphics, narration and music.
